Why It Matters
Every parent wants the same thing a child who is confident, curious, creative, and prepared for the future.
But when you find your student has extra time after school or summer arrives, the question becomes: how do you choose an experience that truly makes an impact?
Total Experience Learning® (TExpL®) after school or summer programs are designed to do exactly that combining hands-on learning with real-world challenges that help students build skills they’ll carry far beyond the classroom.
More Than an After School Program or Summer Camp
This isn’t a passive experience.
At a TExpL program, students don’t just attend they engage, create, and solve.
From day one, your child is immersed in a meaningful challenge and supported as they work to develop a solution through collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking.
The program expands learning beyond the school day empowering students to take ownership, fuel their curiosity, and unlock their full potential.
The Total Experience Learning After-School Research Program is where curious students turn their own questions into meaningful discovery. By designing and leading their own research projects, students move beyond traditional learning to explore bold ideas, think critically, and engage more deeply.
What Your Child Will Experience
Depending on the program, students may:
- Design solutions to real-world challenges
- Build and present business ideas
- Create documentaries or media projects
- Engineer prototypes and test solutions
- Develop community-based initiatives
Every experience is hands-on, student-driven, and rooted in real-world application.
The Momentum Maker Summer Program
The Momentum Maker Summer Program at Alvernia University redefines summer learning by putting students in control of what and how they learn.
Through hands-on, inquiry-driven projects guided by university professors and industry mentors, participants build, create, and explore real-world challenges on a college campus.
Grounded in the Total Experience Learning instructional framework, the program ignites curiosity, strengthens critical thinking and collaboration, and fosters a deeper sense of purpose equipping students with the confidence and skills needed for future academic and career success.
Mock Trial at Momentum Maker
At Total Experience Learning’s Mock Trial Camp at Alvernia University, students immersed themselves in real-world application and meaningful collaboration. They donned the roles of attorneys, delving into trial advocacy, crafting opening and closing statements, developing case strategies, and practicing directing examinations.
This immersive experience provided them with invaluable courtroom experience. Through these interactions, students engaged more deeply with educators, honed critical skills, and unlocked new avenues for growth, all thanks to the future-ready learning experience offered by Total Experience Learning.
